Alvaro Morata scored twice as Serie A champions Juventus claimed an easy win over Hungarian minnows Ferencvaros in Champions League Group G.
Andrea Pirlo's side recovered from their defeat by group leaders Barcelona last time out and look well set to reach the knockout stages. In his 100th game for Juve, Morata netted in the first half and curled in a delightful second on the hour mark.
Paulo Dybala's effort and Lasha Dvali's own goal completed a comfortable win.Franck Boli netted a late consolation for the hosts but with four goals, Morata is the joint top scorer in this season's competition alongside Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford and Liverpool forward Diogo Jota.In the group's other game, Barca maintained their 100% winning record by edging a 2-1 win over Dynamo Kyiv.

A 1-1 stalemate at the weekend made it eight matches unbeaten in domestic competition this term for Ferencváros (W6, D2), and was their fourth draw from their previous eight competitive games, which includes their last UEFA Champions League (UCL) fixture (2-2). Notably, three of the four draws during that run saw the visitors on the day lead ‘to nil’ at HT.
At home, Ferencváros are unbeaten in all seven of their matches this season, netting exactly twice in three of their four UCL outings here (W2, D2). The quick-starting hosts have also scored the opener in four of those seven games, with four witnessing 2+ goals before HT.
Each of Juventus‘ two UCL matches this term (W1, L1) produced exactly two goals, which has also been the case in four of their last five competitive outings (W2, D2, L1). Juventus’ win over Spezia on Sunday in Serie A (SA) did at least end a run of two consecutive league draws, but curiously it also saw a second competitive match in a row witness the opener arrive in the 14th minute!
The visitors remain unbeaten on the road in all competitions this season (W2, D2), opening the scoring in both wins - and that’s despite Juventus netting five of their last six competitive away goals after HT, including both against Dinamo Kyiv in their first UCL road trip.
Players to watch: Franck Boli (FER) has four goals to his name this season. He’s scored in two UCL matches this term - both ended in a draw and witnessed over 3.5 goals.
Cristiano Ronaldo (JUV) scored a brace against Spezia last time out and is ready for his first UCL appearance of the season. Three of his four UCL goals last term arrived in or after the 60th minute.
Hot stat: Four of Juventus’ last five UCL matches have seen one team fail to score, including both this season.
